On the Front Porch - Friday April 24 and Saturday April 25 dawn-dusk

Every year around this time I head up to Waco to attend my favorite homesteading conference. Mother Earth News used to put it on, now it has been taken over by Homestead Heritage. There are amazing workshops, incredible food, a plethora of knowledegable farmers/ranchers/gardeners. I love learning new things - but without a doubt this conference is my very favorite. I highly recommend it for anyone who is interested in that sort of thing. That being said - I will be gone this weekend. My boys have agreed to make sure that my plant sale carries on though. I will set everything up on the porch before I leave early Friday morning so it will be open all day Friday (4/25) and all day on Saturday (4/25). It will be pardoned off before dawn and after dusk so our deer friends don't nibble. I have started a new round of seeds that I need room for - so EVERYTHING will be $5. Every pot (large or small), each tree, and my Jam Jar Bouquets will all be $5 this Friday and Saturday. Speaking of Jam Jar Bouquets, they have a new upgrade. I found very reasonably priced jam jar "frogs" that fit standard mason jars(see picture below). These frogs help hold my arrangements in place - but can also help you make an arrangement at home easier if you buy one! I will only be announcing this sale via my mailing list and to followers on Facebook today - so that loyal followers can have first choice of the reduced prices, but I will share it more widely on Saturday, so stop by soon to get what you want. Happy gardening!
