All plants and bouquets will be available for browsing and pickup on my porch Saturday and Sunday 8am-8pm. 375 Lockener Avenue New Braunfels.  If you know you want something on this listing without browsing than message me and I will set it aside for you in the pickup area with your name on it.  Pay on pick up via cash, cash app, venmo. Cash box and QR codes found on the porch post.


Heirloom Apothecary Pack $20

Collection of four plants that have traditional medicinal uses:

*Marshmallow - traditionally used in a soothing tea or to make old fashioned marshmallows

*Calendula - traditionally used to make a skin healing salve

*Yarrow - traditionally used to stop bleeding

Heirloom Surviving Summer Garden Pack $20

Collection of four plants that do well in the garden in Texas heat:

*Amaranth - high protein leafy green that thrives in heat

*Chinese Jade Cucumber - these cucumbers tolerate Texas summer better than pickling types and don’t turn bitter in the heat

*Malabar Spinach - this fleshy vining green is a good fresh substitute for lettuce in the summer

*Biquinho Pepper - this prolific compact pepper plant thrives in the hot sunny Texas summers



Heirloom Sweet Potato Pack $20

Collection of four potted sweet potato slips that have been grown for generations:

*Centennial - Centennial is a popular, high-yielding heirloom sweet potato variety developed in the 1960s, known for its copper-orange skin, bright orange flesh, and reliable 90-110 day maturity. They offer a moist, tender, and moderately sweet taste, making them excellent for baking ("baby bakers") or frying, with a slightly drier texture than other orange types.

*Nancy Hall-An 1896 letter claims the Nancy Hall variety of sweet potato originated from the accidental crossing of potato and flower seeds by a miss Nancy Hall. Regardless of who first discovered the tan-colored, moist, yellow-fleshed tuber, the Nancy Hall was once so loved in the American Southeast a parade was once held in its honor. The taste was so adored that a 1919 farmers’ bulletin proclaimed it one of the most popular varieties of the day.

*Bush Porto Rico-The Bush Porto Rico (or Bunch Porto Rico) is a popular, compact heirloom sweet potato variety prized for its "vineless" or bush-type growth habit, making it ideal for containers, raised beds, and small gardens. It is known for its copper-colored skin and sweet, orange to light-orange flesh with a rich, old-fashioned flavor.

*Georgia Jets- The Georgia Jet sweet potato is a high-yielding heirloom known for its rapid maturity (90-100 days). It features distinctive deep red skin with moist, bright orange flesh and a rich, sugary, aromatic flavor. These tubers tend to be more round than long, growing on long, vigorous trailing vines



Heirloom Cutting Garden Pack $20

Collection of six cut and come again flowers. The more you cut, the more they grow.  Have flowers on the table all summer long:

Heirloom Strawberry Hanging Basket $20

10 inch hanging basket filled with 4 heirloom strawberry plants - 2 wild red and 2 yellow wild wonder.  Wild strawberries are much smaller, intensely aromatic, and far more flavorful than traditional, large-scale commercial strawberries, which are bred for size, shelf-life, and high yields.
