On the Front Porch - Saturday 4/18 Self Serve Plant Sale (8am-3pm) and Workshop (10am-12pm)

This weekend all of the plants will be set out on the porch for sale, it will be self serve. You can pay on the poll with cash, Venmo or Cash app. You will find the plant list below. The potted sweet potato slips are looking particularly good! Small pots/paper pots $5, large pots $7, trees $15, potted sweet potato slips $7, water rooted sweet potato slips $2 each (bring a container to keep them hydrated if you are getting slips), terra cotta plant spikes $5 each, jam jar bouquet $10 (all flowers from my homestead now that my calendula and dahlias are blooming - will also have Gregg's mist, mint, oregano, lavender). You can also order online and I can set your order aside for pickup during the plant sale or you can send me and email with what you want me to set to the side for you and you can pay on the porch. I am struggling to do all the things... garden, workshop, keep my website completely updated, and cook for my voraciously hungry teenaged boys so you may find some offerings on this plant week's list that I haven't gotten up on the website yet. Please bear with me while I learn to balance the analog and tech things - I promise to get there:)
There will also be a garden tour (aka my backyard) where you can see my growing space and meet my chickens, followed by a hands on garden building workshop in the front yard. We will talk a bit about how to choose a good site, how big to make your garden, excluding deer, ways to mitigate for the Texas sun, and where to find free and cheap resources to fill a garden bed.
