The Victory Garden Workshop Update

The first in a series of garden beds (that will eventually be open for neighborhood harvesting, planting, and learning) got built during the Victory Garden Workhshop - mostly. Three families of eager learners showed up and all pitched in to saw, pound, carry, and measure. We managed to get the cardboard laid down, the end boards sawed, the bricks placed and the rebar pounded in before the rain came. It hasn't stopped raining since, so the beds are yet to be filled - though my boys and their friends helped me put up the cattle panels before everything go too wet.
